SYNOPSIS

Two young photographers find a disturbing discovery in a basement of an abandoned mill: a deaf girl that seemingly spent many years enclosed in a dark room with a small window looking at the forest. In her silence she is looking through the window into the depth of the forest.

This surreal and yet tragically real sight does not trigger the same reaction for each of the photographers. Pierre instinctively starts photographing; he is obsessed by this bizarre view. Frank, however, is not at all at ease about this dark photo-shoot. His limits of how far can one go “in sake of art” are different from those of Pierre. The moral conflict escalates. Pierre is now left alone with the girl and the photo-shoot begins…

In the official selection of “Festival du Premier Court-Métrage” in Pontault-Combault.
