Sunshine Cake

“I was about three or four. It was my birthday. And I remember some sort of a compressed version of myself.

I remember it was very sunny. There was a cake on the table: super creamy. For some reason, I only remember the cake, but I believe there was definitely more food.

There was some crappy dress because I was usually dressed in my cousin’s clothes, which were no longer trendy.

All I remember is the cake, that’s it. Not even the cake, but the whole table. We all have those photos of people sitting at the table …”
