CONCEPT & DOCUMENTARY APPROACH
The 50th anniversary of the legendary “Polifonija” choir presented a unique creative challenge: how to celebrate a venerable institution’s history while capturing its vital present and future.
Instead of a traditional retrospective focused solely on the choir’s monumental achievements and conductors, this project shifts the lens to the human element at its core. The documentary and accompanying portrait series are built upon the choristers themselves—the individuals whose dedication and passion form the collective voice.
By crafting portraits of the singers, the project moves beyond the polished stage image to reveal the personal stories, and everyday lives of the musicians, providing an intimate, human-centric view of “Polifonija” choir.
